Large Language Models for the European Union
The project
LLMs4EU is a European project focused on supporting the development and uptake of large language models for European languages. Its objective is to help preserve Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity in the digital age.
The project supports the collection and use of language data and the development of tools and models that can be adapted to different languages, domains and sectors.
Project’s Activities
LLMs4EU works on strengthening the European language technology ecosystem by supporting language resources, model development and the practical adoption of large language models across EU languages.
It also aims to make these technologies more usable in concrete application contexts.
